While I was in Toronto with my friend Tara we went shopping (of course). I purchased MAC Classic Dame lipstick with Cherry Liner. A little while later I showed up at the Dior counter and was accosted by an Evil Dior Elf who wanted to "Fix" my makeup. Well, I walked away with more stuff I didn't need - but wow does it ever look good!

I've always wanted "model" lips. Guess what - THESE ARE MINE!!!

(be happy you are seeing the cropped version - the original has a shot looking up my nose, which is why my lips look Angelina-esque).

My First Abstract Painting!!! Yeah, I know... it sort of sucks. It's based off of a piece I saw at Ethan Allen. I really want that painting but couldn't afford the print. So, I thought I'd try to create my own. This is a far cry from the orginal (which may have been Klee, I don't know) but it's a start at something different, right? Yay me for being adventurous!

I just returned yesterday from a weekend in Toronto. I was there on business but since my friend Tara was with me we chose to stay the rest of the weekend at her brother's place. It was a great weekend and very fun. We went shopping on Friday and got accosted by the Dior Makeup Elves, then went to several vinyards as well as Niagra on the Lake and Niagra Falls on Saturday. Sunday I we returned, but not before I got a chance to meet more of Tara's wonderful family. Very good weekend.

The picture is me in front of Niagra Falls (duh). Tara's brother Rob took the picture. My mother always likes me to get pictures of myself in famous places. This may be my favorite of the "Me at Famous Places" series... I was genuinely having a good time. It's so spectacular out there!
