""You will always feel that way about him. It
will never go away. For you, it will
burn like never-ending fire, and for him it'll
burn him like quicksilver would. It will alway
be fossil fuel. But when you get strong enough,
you will walk way to avoid a disaster. That
doesn't mean you'll stop smoldering, it just
means that when you're not in the vicinity of
the blaze, you won't go up in flames. Distance,
darlin'. Time and distance. But don't drop a
match near it -- ever. No matter how much time
has passed. Ask me how I know."" - Marlene to Damali, The Hunted by L.A. Banks

So I've been taking a figure painting class (which means paiting naked people, not "finger" painting as my mom missinterpreted it). We finished out second paintings today which means the class is half over. I hope to have images up on the website as soon as I am able to get batteries for my computer. It's been a very interesting class.
Mike's been out of town so it's just me and my cats. It's been fun except Obe's depressed and Cicero keeps chasing Oberon. Although Cicero also gets distracted by oil paints - I think he may have been a painter in a former life. Yay!
A couple of trips coming up... testing in Newark in the middle of winter (yay) and then later going to CHI in San Diego. I need to get registered for that but I finally have the OK. I guess being a squeeky wheel pays off once in a while.
Anyway, this month hasn't been much of a month. If something interesting happens, I'll be sure to write.

It's February. Deal with it.
