Mike comes home from Tokyo tomorrow, I think. I'm not sure with the date changes and everything but he said Wednesday, so I assume he means... well, you know.
My mother came down to visit this weekend. That was a lot of fun. I'm not great at entertaining for extended periods of time, but I don't worry about that much with her. She just sort of does her own thing. Me, I sleep until noon.
So I finally saw Brokeback Mountain. Just watched it On Demand. I have to say, I probably coiuld have skipped that movie. I don't think it had anything profound to say and it wasn't really all that great in general. Make the movie about a boy and a girl and you call it Romeo and Juliet (assuming they didn't kill themselves and Juliet actually married that other guy, but you get the idea).
Yes, I'm just killing time. I slept all afternoon. I'll probably go take my shower then go sleep some more, wait for Mike to get home.

Not much going on. Mike's in Tokyo (and he's been there a few days and I've only heard from him once... grrr). My mom came to visit today. We got manicures and pedicures... ate dinner, and got more than a little tipsy while watching Star Wars... ok, watching Star Wars several times. They keep playing it on TV so I keep watching. Go figure. I must have a thing for Jabba the Hutt.
Anyway, I'm on vacation now. Not much to do. And no matter how hard I tried to sleep in today I still woke up at 8:30 am.

Happy December. As you know, it's necessary for me to write on the first of the month so my site doesn't break down since I'm too lazy to build it so that it doesn't throw an error when there are no entries for the month. Yay.
I have a HUGE headache right now. What else is new. I'm still getting used to being back from Spain. Time changes are really REALLY hard on me.
So since it's December I guess it's time to start thinking of new years resolutions. Obviously, lose 50 lbs, take up kick boxing, and beat someone up. Seriously. A punching bag would be a nice thing right now. Not just because I just finished watching Battlestar Galactica's version of Fight Club (though that is a good reason). I have my reasons. They will remain mine. Talked a lot about gripes tonight at a party I went to but didn't mention anything that's really bothering me. Not a first, but a rarity. A punching bag would be a much better listener.
Cheers!
